Andrea Anthony took office as Lamar County Tax Commissioner on January 01, 2009 and was elected to her fourth term in 2020.
She began her career with the tax commissioners office in 1991 as a Tag/Tax Clerk and was eventually promoted to the position of Chief Deputy Tax Commissioner.
Andrea is a graduate of the Class of 2007 Lamar Community Initiative Program known as "Leadership Lamar". She is also a member of Georgia Association of Tax Officials (GATO) and Constitutional Officers of Georgia (COAG).
